Phyllis was born is San Francisco, graduated from San Francisco State with a nursing degree, and retired after spending 40 years working for the San Mateo Medical Center as a Registered Nurse. She and her husband, Jeff, have two adult children and four grandchildren. They have lived in Foster City for 38 years.
Phyllis assists with the growth and care of the rose beds around the Foster City Rec Center and Library, is an active member of the women’s organization P.E.O., and currently serves on the Board of the Foster City Village. She chairs a number of committees for The Village, is active in the arrangement and management of social events and our monthly Lunch and Learn program. Phyllis also readily volunteers to drive our Village members. She is energetic and reliable, and a definite asset to any organization in which she endeavors to contribute effort.
